Helen is an Emmy and CDG Award winning costume designer based in Los Angeles. Her love of art began at a very young age. She received a B.A. from FIDM for fashion design, and a B.F.A. from Art Center with a focus on painting. 

Helen began her career in fashion editorials, working for publications such as Vogue, Elle, and Dazed. She transitioned into television and film, working with designers such as Debra McGuire, Lou Eyrich, and April Ferry. Helen recently completed designing season 1 of FOX's 911, NBC’s The Night Shift, FX's American Horror Story: Roanoke, and MGM's television revamp of Get Shorty. She often finds her design influences in fine art, referencing favorites such as John Singer Sargent, Alex Katz, and Marlene Dumas, her aesthetic choices are always grounded in a deep understanding of narrative and character.
